BRAND DESIGN

The upcoming TV series by Mearbeck Pictures focuses on the life of a gay footballer and is inspired by real events. To pitch the drama to sponsors, BBC and Amazon, 'visual flavours' were needed to make a striking impact; branding, photoshopping, and a pitch deck.

LOGO DESIGN

The logo was to be designed in a modern and recognisable arrangement. The shapes explored started bold and sharp, like the main character will develop. These were later altered into a thinner form, which resides better with the fragility of the main character. The final logo was constructed with symbolism of football pitch elements; centre/penalty arcs and touch lines.


COVER DESIGN

The logo was presented with various photographs that best portrayed the feel and symbolism.

PITCH DECK DESIGN

The logo inspired the pitch deck creation, which was designed in a minimalistic way, with elements and layout connecting to it.

PHOTO EDITING

When implications with a competing TV show arose in regards to the clothing sponsors, the directors decided not to wait and asked us to remove current logos from the clothing in the footage and replace them with new provided designs. This task required precision and extreme attention to detail to manipulate flat logo designs onto the shapes and creases of clothing, with appropriate perspective and lighting for the most natural look.
